Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included four residential burglaries, three vehicle burglaries, and two acts of vandalism.

July 23
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown climbed in an unlocked window and stole U.S. currency from a home in the 6000 block of Woodfern Drive.
July 24
Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window latch and rummaged through the inside of a vehicle in the 2000 block of Beecham Drive. Nothing appeared to have been taken.
July 25
Residential Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown pried a sliding glass door open and stole several tools from a home under repair in the 5400 block of Bayridge Road.
July 26
Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between June and July 26th, person(s) unknown stole numerous items from a home in the 6500 block of Eddinghill Drive. The victim's 2002 Cadillac Seville was stolen from the location also.
July 27
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a woman's purse from a car in a parking area in the 27500 block of Western Avenue.
Vehicle Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a cellular phone and a day planner from a car in a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue.

Residential Burglary (nighttime) - Person(s) unknown stole a statue from the garage of a home in the 30300 block of Avenida De Calma. There was no sign of forced entry.
