Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one strong-arm robbery, one commercial burglary, one attempt commercial burglary, two residential burglaries, two vehicle burglaries and one grand theft.

September 10

Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole U.S. currency from a safe in a business in the 29100 block of Western Avenue.

September 11

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a digital camera from a car in the parking structure of a complex in the 32600 block of Nantasket Drive.

September 12

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole several small trees from the planter at a home in the 3800 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.

September 14

Residential Burglary (daytime) - Person(s) unknown stole U.S. currency and electronic equipment from a home in the 27500 block of Elmbridge Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

September 15

Vehicle Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown broke a window and stole a briefcase from a car in the 29600 block of Island View Drive.

Attempt Commercial Burglary (overnight) - Person(s) unknown attempted to force a door open at a business in the 29200 block of Western Avenue.

Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between May 31st and September
15th, person(s) unknown stole a rifle from the garage of a home in the 28600 block of Mount Shasta Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.

September 16

Strong-arm Robbery (evening) - A female suspect used physical force to take a purse from a female victim as she walked in a parking lot in the 28900 block of Western Avenue. The suspect fled on foot.
