Weekly Activity Report for December 31, 2006 to January 6, 2007

CRIME SUMMARY

Crimes reported during this time period in the City of Rancho Palos Verdes included one residential burglary, two vehicle burglaries, two grand thefts, two petty thefts and three acts of vandalism.

January 2

Grand Theft (overnight) - Person(s) unknown stole a briefcase and a cellular phone from an unlocked car in the parking structure of a complex in the 28100 block of Peacock Ridge Drive.

Residential Burglary - A victim reported that between December 15th and 16th, a male suspect, known by the victim entered her home in the 28900 block of Gunter Road. The suspect also stole a utility trailer, two ATV's and a dirt bike from the property.

Grand Theft (daytime) - A male suspect was arrested after stealing a bicycle from the bed of a pickup in a parking area in the 6600 block of Palos Verdes Drive South.

January 4

Vehicle Burglary - A victim reported that between December 22nd and January 3rd, person(s) unknown damaged a door lock and stole a coin drawer containing U.S. coins from a vehicle at a home on Rockinghorse Road.

January 5

Vehicle Burglary - A victim reported that between December 18th and19th, person(s) unknown stole a briefbag from a locked car in the driveway of a home in the 2200 block of Chandeleur Drive. There was no sign of forced entry.
