2. THREE-MONTH REVIEW OF LIGHTING AT WAYFARERS CHAPEL (CASE NO. ZON2005-00015): 5755 Palos Verdes Drive South / Wayfarers Chapel (DB)

Request: A request to conduct a three (3) month review of the parking lot lights for Wayfarers Chapel.

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission approve the three (3) month review of the revision to Conditional Use Permit No. 185 (Case No. ZON2005-00015), via minute order

3. HEIGHT VARIATION PERMIT AND GRADING PERMIT (CASE NO. ZON2004-00539): 4369 Dauntless / Landen (ES)

3A. P.C. RESOLUTION NO

Request: A request to construct a new 3,429 square foot two-story single-family residence and a new 600 square foot detached garage on a vacant parcel. Further, a total of 2,411 cubic yards of grading will be conducted to accommodate the new two-story residence that will measure 25’-10" in overall height.

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2005-__, conditionally approving Case No. ZON2004-00539.

4. GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT, ZONE CHANGE AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT (CASE NO. ZON2003-00520): 30648, 30650, 30652, 30658, 30676, 30678, 30680, 30682 Palos Verdes Drive East; and 2803, 2809, 2817, 2823, 2829, 2837, 2845 San Ramon Drive / Various Owners (ES)

Request: A request for a General Plan Amendment to change the General Plan Land Use Designation of certain properties or portions of properties from Natural Environment/Hazard, to Residential; and a proposed change in Zoning designation on said properties from OH (Open Space Hazard), to RS-2 (Single Family Residential).

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2005-__, recommending to the City Council certification of the Negative Declaration, and adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2005-__, recommending to the City Council approval of the General Plan Amendment and Zone Change (CASE NO. ZON2003-00520).
