1A. Staff Report

Request: A request to construct a new 768 square foot second story addition measuring 25.07-feet in overall height to the rear of an existing one-story residence.

(This item was continued from the June 14, 2005 Planning Commission meeting).

Action Deadline: July 12, 2005

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission review the proposed project and determine whether the project adequately addresses the Planning Commissions’ concerns.

2. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CASE NO.ZON2005-00114): 26231 Silver Spur / Sprint (DB)

2a. P.C. RESOLUTION NO. 2005

Request: A request by Sprint PCS to install two wireless cellular antennas to the side of an existing building and locate the related equipment cabinets adjacent to the building.

Action Deadline: July 23, 2005

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2005-___; thereby approving, with conditions, the Conditional Use Permit (Case No. ZON2005-00114).

3. VIEW RESTORATION PERMIT NO. 189: 3109, 3117, 3125, 3131 & 3139 Dianora Drive (JA)

3a. P.C. RESOLUTION NO. 2005

Request: A request to trim and/or remove foliage located at 3003 Deluna Drive, in order to restore the views from 3109, 3117, 3125, 3131 & 3139 Dianora Drive.

Action Deadline: None

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2005-___, approving VRP No. 189 to trim and/or remove foliage on the property located at 3003 Deluna Drive, in order to restore the applicants’ views from 3109, 3117, 3125, 3131 & 3139 Dianora Drive.

NEW BUSINESS:

4. PLANNING COMMISSION POLICY ON ACCEPTING LATE CORRESPONDENCE: City (JR)

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission review the proposed amended policy and provide Staff with direction.

5. JOINT MEETING BETWEEN THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND CITY COUNCIL: City (JR)

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission confirm whether Commissioners will be able to attend the joint meeting that has been tentatively set for October 22, 2005 and to identify any topics for discussion.
