Request: A request to allow Sprint/Nextel to replace three existing panel antennas with three new panel antennas and install three microwave dish antennas behind an existing parapet on the rooftop of an existing commercial building.
Action Deadline: March 14, 2010
Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2010-__, thereby approving a revision to a Conditional Use Permit (ZON2009-00368).
2. GENERAL PLAN UPDATE (CASE NO. ZON2008-00160) – SUB-COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENT AND REVIEW OF “DRAFT” SCHEDULE: Citywide / City (GP)

Request: A request to fill the existing vacant Sub-committee positions and review the revised “Draft” schedule.
Action Deadline: NONE
Recommendation: 1) Fill the existing vacant positions on the Planning Commission’s General Plan Update Sub-committees; and 2) Review and approve Staff’s recommended “Draft” schedule for reviewing the General Plan Update.
3. ANNENBERG PROJECT AT LOWER POINT VICENTE EIR SCOPING MEETING (CASE NO. ZON2009-00442): 31501 Palos Verdes Drive West / Annenberg Foundation (AM)

Request: A request to construct a two-story education building at approximately 50,979 square feet in size (consisting of habitable space, mechanical space, and a subterranean parking garage) measuring 16-feet in height as measured from existing grade and 31-feet in height as measured from finished grade to the highest roofline, a 900 square foot outpost structure measuring 16-feet in height as measured from existing grade, outdoor exhibit areas, expanded picnic areas, restroom facilities, grassland and habitat restoration, drainage improvements and enhanced pedestrian pathways and trails.

Recommendation: Receive public comments and provide Commission feedback to Staff on what environmental issues should be analyzed in the forthcoming Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the Annenberg Project at Lower Point Vicente.

Request: A request by the Planning Commission for a discussion on the voting options in situations where a resolution that memorializes a previous PC decision is placed on the consent calendar for adoption.

Recommendation: Review Staff’s “Draft” amendment to the Planning Commission’s Rules and Procedures pertaining to voting procedures for items on the Consent Calendar.
