2. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 158 - REVISION C, COASTAL PERMIT NO. 94 - REVISION A, ENCROACHMENT PERMIT NO. 32 and SIGN PERMIT NO. 1096: RPV Associates llc, represented by Robert Katherman, Tract No. 46628 (Oceanfront), Palos Verdes Drive West and Hawthorne Boulevard. (KF)
Requested Action: Allow sections of tract perimeter fencing up to six feet (60") in height at the tract entries, the installation of two (2) 14-foot-tall, 184-square-foot manned tract entry observation booths in the public rights-of-way of Via Vicente and Calle Entradero (at Palos Verdes Drive West), and the installation of permanent and temporary tract identification signs for the Oceanfront project. Functional vehicle or pedestrian gates are not permitted for this project, but decorative, non-functional vehicle gates are proposed in conjunction with the tract entry observation booths.
Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2000-__, approving Conditional Use Permit No. 158-Revision C and Sign Permit No. 1096 for the perimeter fencing modifications and tract identification signage, and denying without prejudice Coastal Permit No. 94-Revision A and Encroachment Permit No. 32 for the tract entrance observation booths.
Requested Action: Allow installation of six personal communications systems (PCS) panel antennae on an existing 5-story building located at the Ocean Crest Apartments (6507 Ocean Crest Drive). Two panels will be placed on the south elevation, two on the north elevation, and two on the west elevation. Each panel would be mounted on the building, under the existing roof eaves. Further, an equipment cabinet also proposed in the underground parking facility.
Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2000 - ____, thereby approving Conditional Use Permit NO. 218, subject to conditions.
Requested Action: Allow the installation of two personal communications systems (PCS) panel antennae on the existing 5-story high ocean view apartments building. One panel will be mounted at the northeast corner of the building, one panel will be mounted at the southeast corner of the building, and each will be located under the existing roof eaves. Further, an equipment cabinet with a 26" street-side setback from the property line along Hawthorne Boulevard, where the Citys Development Code requires a 25-foot minimum street-side setback.
Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2000 - ____, thereby approving Conditional Use Permit No. 191 Revision B and Variance No. 478, subject to conditions.
Requested Action: A request to amend the existing conditional use permit to allow the removal of an existing omni antennae for the installation of four (4) new roof top antennae panels, at the Center Professional Building (aka 7-Eleven building), located at the northeast corner of Hawthorne Boulevard and Granvia Altamira. Of the proposed antennae panels, two (2) will be mounted on the northside of the roof of the existing structure, and the remaining two (2) antennas will be located on the roof top of the buildings south side. The proposed antennae panels will not exceed the height of the existing roof ridgeline. Additionally, the applicants propose replacement of the existing base transceiver cabinets (bts) with two new cabinets located within the same location.
Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2000 - ____, thereby approving Conditional Use Permit No. 196 Revision A, subject to conditions.
