Request: A request to trim and/or remove foliage located at 28967 Palos Verdes Drive East, in order to restore the view from 28961 Palos Verdes Drive East.

Action Deadline: None

Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2007-__, thereby approving View Restoration Permit No. ZON2007-00003 to trim and/or remove foliage on the property located at 28967 Palos Verdes Drive East, in order to restore the applicant’s view from 28961 Palos Verdes Drive East.

Request: A request to construct a 16’-high monument sign near the entrance of Westmont Plaza.

Action Deadline: July 8, 2007

Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2007-__, thereby denying without prejudice, the Sign Permit (ZON2006-00069).

3. CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CASE ZON2007-00213): 29661 So. Western Avenue / Todaro/T-Mobile (TD)

Request: A request to install 12 antennas, divided equally into three sectors, to be located on the south-, east-, and north-facing façades of the Palos Verdes Villa Retirement Home. The antennae will be placed behind screens that will be integrated into the architecture of the building by matching the existing color and texture of the existing building. Associated equipment shall be housed within the subterranean parking garage and one global positioning systems (GPS) antennae shall also be mounted inside the façade screening of the south-facing sector.

Action Deadline: July 25, 2007

Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2007-__, thereby approving Conditional Use Permit Case (CUP) No. ZON2007-00213 with conditions of approval.

4. USE DETERMINATION (CASE NO. ZON2007-00261): 27 Rockinghorse Road and OH Zones / Nolls (ES)

Request: A request that the Planning Commission make a finding that certain minor additions to existing single-family residences in Open Space Hazard (OH) Zones are similar to and no more intensive than permitted uses in that District.

Action Deadline: July 7, 2007

Recommendation: Approve Case No. ZON2007-00261, subject to the criteria contained in Exhibit A via Minute Order.
