Request: A request to install ten new telecommunication antennae measuring in height from 2’ to 4’ inside of the existing parapet area atop the existing roof of the 7-Eleven building.  The applicant is proposing to extend the existing parapet by 3’ towards Hawthorne Boulevard to accommodate the installation of the antennae.  The antennae would also require ground mounted equipment housed in four cabinets to be installed adjacent to the existing building. The overall structure height from the existing grade to the top of the parapet will remain unchanged at 35’.

Action Deadline:  None

Recommendation:  Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2007-__, thereby approving the Conditional Use Permit and Major Grading application (Case No. ZON2006-00533).

Request:  A request to demolish the existing single-story residence and construct a new two-story 3,361ft² residence as a replacement.  The proposed structure height is 25.75’, as measured from the point where the lowest foundation (303.00) meets finished grade, to the ridgeline (328.75).

Request:  A request to construct a 364 square foot second story addition to the existing 2,330 square foot two-story single-family residence in the RS-4 zoning district. The new addition would be constructed above the existing 536 square foot garage. The residence would maintain its existing building heights, measuring 22’-0” in height from the lowest finished grade covered by the structure to the top of the highest ridgeline and 23’-0” in height, as measured from the highest pre-existing grade to the top of the highest ridgeline.

Request: A request for a revision to the previously-approved height variation (Planning Case No. ZON2005-00071) to allow the relocation of the chimney in the 1-story great room portion of the new, 2-story single-family residence from the northeast wall to the southeast wall.  There are no other proposed changes to the project as it was originally approved by the Planning Commission on October 25, 2005.

Action Deadline:  September 24, 2007.
