The proposed structure height is 25.17’, as measured from the point where the lowest foundation or slab meets finished grade, to the ridgeline or highest point of the structure.

3. HEIGHT VARIATION PERMIT, MINOR EXCEPTION PERMIT, SITE PLAN REVIEW (CASE NO. ZON2007-00349): 5 Diamonte Lane / Borgen (LM)
            To review the staff report click here

Request: A request to construct a 1,034 square foot first-story addition and a 1,470 square foot second-story addition to the existing 3,099.25 square foot single-story residence in the RS-2 zoning district. The existing 473 square foot garage would be converted into habitable area and a new 720 square foot, three-car garage would be constructed. The proposed residence would measure 24’-5½” in height, as measured from the lowest finished grade (elevation 176.3’) adjacent to the foundation/slab to the highest ridgeline of the residence (200.75’); and 20’-4¾” in height, as measured from the highest elevation of building pad (elevation 180.36’) covered by structure to the highest ridgeline of the residence (elevation 200.75’). The application also includes a request for a Minor Exception Permit to allow a reduction in the open space requirement (60% open space required) by 11%.

Request: A request to appeal the Director’s decision that approved a new 5,998 square foot (garage included), split-level single-family residence on an unimproved lot at a maximum height of 14’ as measured from the point where the highest foundation meets grade (382’) to the highest roof ridgeline (396’) and 26’ as measured from where the lowest foundation meets grade (370’) to the highest roof ridgeline (396’).
