Request: A request to construct a new 40-unit Affordable Rental Housing Complex for Seniors, located at the northwest corner of Crenshaw Blvd. and Crestridge Road

Action Deadline: None

Recommendation: 1) Receive a presentation by Staff and AMCAL on the status of the proposed project, including a presentation on proposed Site Plan Options 1 and 2; 2) Hear public testimony from the public; 3) Discuss and select a preferred Option or an amended Option; 4) Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2009-__, recommending that the City Council certify the Mitigated Negative Declaration for the Planning Commission recommended Option; and 5) Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2009-__, recommending that the City Council conditionally approve the necessary entitlements for the Planning Commission recommended Option.

Request: An appeal of the Planning, Building and Code Enforcement Director's approval to trim foliage located at 3461 Coolheights Drive in order to preserve the view from 31021 Ganado Drive.

Action Deadline: None

Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2009-___; upholding the Director of Planning, Building & Code Enforcement’s approval of View Preservation Permit Case No. 2008-00036 upon finding that all applicable findings have been correctly made and all provisions of Section 17.02.040(B)(3) of the Municipal Code have been complied with.
