1. HEIGHT VARIATION, GRADING PERMIT AND VARIANCE (CASE NO. ZON2010- 00458): 5903 Clint Place / Tavasci (SK)
     To review the staff report click here

Request: A request to 1) construct a 26’ tall, 5,167.05ft² split-level residence (including garage) with 2,985yd³ of grading; 2) construct an upsloping retaining wall up to 14’-6” in height along the south property line; 3) construct several retaining walls measuring up to 12’-7” in height to accommodate stairways, yard space and pool area in the east side yard; 4) reduce the required front yard setback of 20’ to 14’; and 5) revise the approved Grading Permit No. 1844 to allow for a driveway gradient in excess of 16.7% on a vacant lot located at 5903 Clint Place. The request also includes the construction of a retaining wall measuring up to 11.5’ in height on the abutting property located at 5901 Clint Place to accommodate the new driveway.

Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2011-__; thereby approving, with conditions, the requested Height Variation, Grading Permit, Variance and Revision to Grading Permit No. 1844 (ZON2011-00458).

2. ZONE CHANGE AMENDMENT REVISION (CASE NO. ZON2009-00053): 4194 Maritime / City (LM)

Request: A request to re-zone the property located at 4194 Maritime Road, within Tract 16540 of the Portuguese Bend Club from Single-Family Residential (RS-2) to Single-Family Residential (RS-5) in order to maintain consistency with the City’s Local Coastal Specific Plan
and all other residential properties located within Tract 16540.

Action Deadline: None

Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2011-__, recommending approval to the City Council for the proposed Zone Change from RS-2 to RS-5 at 4194 Maritime Road, within the East Tract 16540 Portuguese Bend Club
