Request: A request to amend Chapter 17.14 (Commercial Limited), Chapter 17.16 (Commercial Neighborhood), Chapter 17.18 (Commercial Professional) and Chapter 17.20 (Commercial General) to allow residential uses within commercially zoned properties through the discretionary review and approval of a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) and establish Ancillary Residential Use Development Standards.

Action Deadline: None

Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2012-_, thereby memorializing the Planning Commission's recommendation that the City Council not adopt proposed amendments to the City's Development Code which would allow ancillary residential uses within commercially zoned properties throughout the City.

Request: A request to construct a 1, 775ft2 two-story addition and convert 31ft2 of living space to a stairway of an existing split-story 2,991ft2 split-story residence. The overall height is proposed to increase from 20.1' to 25.6', as measured from the point where the lowest foundation or slab meets finished grade to the highest point of the building.
