1. REVISION TO HEIGHT VARIATION, GRADING AND SITE PLAN REVIEW PERMIT
(CASE NO. ZON2010-00252): 30400 Diamonte Lane / Thomas (AH)

Request: A request to revise the adopted conditions of approval related to grading for a new
single-family residence, so that the earth material approved to be deposited on the adjacent
vacant parcel owned by the same property owner is exported off of the property instead.
Action Deadline: July 17, 2012
Recommendation: Continue the public hearing on the proposed revision request to June 26,
2012.
2. HEIGHT VARIATION, SITE PLAN REVIEW AND GRADING PERMIT (CASE NO.
ZON2011-00302): 5863 Ocean Terrace Drive / Jones (LM)

Request: A request to construct a 787 square foot first floor addition and new 1,856 square foot
second story addition. The project also includes the demolition of an existing 633 square foot
garage and the construction of a new 629 square foot garage in the same location. The overall
height of the residence will be 25’-3”, as measured from the lowest finished grade adjacent to
the foundation of the structure (elev. 103.90’) to the highest ridgeline (elev. 129.17’), and 21’-
10”, as measured from the highest existing grade covered by the structure (elev. 107.30’) to the
top of the highest ridgeline (elev. 129.17’). The project includes a new 3’-6” tall interior retaining
wall along the east side property line.
Action Deadline: June 25, 2012
Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2012-__, thereby approving the Height
Variation, Grading Permit and Site Plan Review for 5863 Ocean Terrace Drive (Case No.
ZON2011-00302).

3. GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY FINDING FOR 2011 CIP: City (SK)

Request: A finding of consistency with the Rancho Palos Verdes General Plan for the City’s
2012 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
Action Deadline: None
Recommendation: Adopt P.C. Resolution No. 2012-__, finding the 2012 Five-Year Capital
Improvement Plan consistent with the General Plan.
