1. COASTAL PERMIT, GRADING PERMIT AND SITE PLAN REVIEW (CASE NO. ZON2012-00141): 3344 Palos Verdes Drive West / Tomaro Architecture (LM) Request: A request to construct a new 10,382 square foot, two-story residence with a 1,027 square foot garage on a 43,484 square foot down sloping lot. The residence will have a maximum height of 25’-8¾”, as measured from the point where the lowest foundation/slab meets finished grade (elev. 251.00’) to the highest ridgeline of the residence (elev. 276.73’), and 13’-8¾“, as measured from the average elevation of the setback line abutting the street (avg. elev. 263.0’) to the highest ridgeline of the residence (elev. 276.73’). The project also includes a total of 2,988 cubic yards of cut and 218 cubic yards of fill. Action Deadline: December 6, 2012 Recommendation: Adopt P.C. ZON2012-00067 AND SUB2012-00001): Crestridge Road /Trumark (ES) Request: A request to open the public hearing, and receive comments from the public and the Planning Commission regarding the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Crestridge Senior Housing project. Action Deadline: April 20, 2013 Recommendation: Conduct a public hearing for the purpose of obtaining comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Report (Draft EIR) for the Crestridge Senior Condominium Housing Project from the general public and from the Planning Commission. 3. GENERAL PLAN UPDATE – REVISIONS TO THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE MAP PERTAINING TO THE HAZARD LAND USE BOUNDARY: City/Citywide (GP) Request: Review the additional information presented regarding Option #2 and provide direction to Staff pertaining to adjusting Hazard boundaries on the General Plan Land Use Map.
