RESIDENTIAL STREETS IMPROVEMENT PROJECT FY11-12 AREAS 3 AND 5

Project Summary and Approach

The annual residential streets improvement project includes the resurfacing of the roadways, repairing of sidewalk, curb, gutter, replacing and updating of signage, and refreshing roadway striping in the City’s residential streets.  This project will perform work in both maintenance areas 3 and 5 of the City.  The work will be conducted in two main phases: (1) the initial preparatory work, which includes localized full-depth asphalt repair (for damage due to tree root intrusion and other causes), crack sealing, sidewalk repair, curb and gutter repair, update of ADA-accessible curb ramps, and replacement and updating of traffic signage and (2) the street resurfacing and roadway striping. 

Project Schedule

Work will begin in February 2013 and continue to Summer 2013:

**Please note that these schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather and any other unforeseen conditions.  Phase II construction schedule is TBD.
