OVERVIEW

Los Serenos de Point Vicente is a volunteer organization which assists and supports the City of Rancho Palos Verdes' objectives for the Point Vicente Interpretive Center, Abalone Cove Shoreline Park, Ladera Linda Community Center and Ocean Trails Park with regard to the natural and cultural history of the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Los Serenos provides interpretive and educational services to the community by means of docent-led tours, special events, docent workshops and classes.

The docents attend optional field trips and have guest speakers to further enhance their knowledge and interest of Southern California.

In addition, social events are held several times a year, including an Appreciation Luncheon hosted by the City of Rancho Palos Verdes to honor the docents for their many hours of volunteerism
