Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program - Resident Funding
Recommendations:
a. Receive and review the attached draft Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program.
b.Consider public comments regarding the draft Program.
c. Approve the draft Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program with any necessary changes.
d. Present the approved draft Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program to the City Council for their consideration.
NEW BUSINESS
1-Cornerstone Elementary School Parking Restrictions
Recommendations:
Replace the existing 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm School Days Only parking restrictions on the
north (school) side of Groveoak Place between Hyte Road and the school driveway 230
feet west of Hyte Road with 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm School Days Only parking restrictions.

Recommendations:
- Retain the existing 45 mph speed limit on Crenshaw Boulevard between Crest Road and the Rolling Hills Estates City Limit.
- Retain the existing 45 mph speed limit on Crest Road between Palos Verdes Drive East and Ganado Drive.
- Retain the existing 40 mph speed limit on Crest Road between Ganado Drive and the Rolling Hills City Limit.
- Retain the existing 40 mph speed limit on Crestridge Road between Crenshaw Boulevard and Highridge Road.
- Retain the existing 35 mph speed limit on Forrestal Drive between Palos Verdes Drive South and its northerly terminus.
- Retain the existing 35 mph speed limit on Granvia Altamira between Hawthorne Boulevard and the Palos Verdes Estates City Limit.
- Retain the existing 35 mph speed limit on Miraleste Drive between Palos Verdes Drive East and Via Colinita.
- Retain the existing 35 mph speed limit on Miraleste Drive between Via Colinita and the Los Angeles City Limit.
- Retain the existing 35 mph speed limit on Montemalaga Drive between Silver Spur Road and the Palos Verdes Estates City Limit.
- Increase the speed limit from 35 mph to 40 mph on Crenshaw Boulevard between Crest Road and Seacrest Drive.
3.Forrestal Drive Traffic Calming
Recommendations:
Approve traffic calming at Forrestal Drive as to the ‘concept’ and subject to the Commission’s future review and approval of the design.
