A Year in Kenya: Who would leave the comfort of home, family and friends to spend a year in Kenya as a teacher? Roxanne Morse Sponsored by the Salvation Army, Roxanne spent 2010 as a volunteer teaching in rural Kenya at a public school. Hear Roxanne talk about the children she taught at Kakamega Township Primary, her life in Kakamega, and what she learned while in Africa.

General Calendar
The AAUW/Palos Verdes Peninsula Branch program year runs from September through June. In addition to general meetings featuring a variety of interesting speakers at various locations, the branch enjoys the following standing events:
- Kickoff event, featuring the summer's Tech Trek Campers, September
